How to watch Arsenal-Southampton streaming online, on NBCSN - NBCSports.com

A dismal season for Southampton doesn’t get much better as a Saturday matchup with Arsenal looms.

The Saints are just above the cellar of the English Premier League standings, while the Gunners and manager Unai Emery enter this weekend’s showdown ranked No. 6 in England’s top division.

Emery’s name has been on the hot seat as of late, however, as Arsenal is winless through its last four matches, and that seat might just reach a nuclear temperature with a loss to 19th-ranked Southampton.

Without a win since Sept. 14, the Saints appear destined for relegation after narrowly avoiding that fate last season.

Here's how to watch Arsenal versus Southampton live on TV and online:

When: Saturday, Nov. 23, at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT
TV Channel: NBCSN
Live Stream: NBC Sports

The English Premier League leaders caught a break in the first half Saturday, and their leading scorer took advantage early in the second.

VAR overturned Crystal Palace's apparent first-half goal against Liverpool FC on Saturday at Selhurst Park, ruling a Palace player pushed a Liverpool defender in the box before James Tomkins' headed effort just before halftime.

In the 49th minute, Sadio Mané gave the Reds a 1-0 lead, chesting the ball to himself and striking it into the ground past Palace keeper Vicente Guaita.

Mané's eighth goal of the Premier League moved him two goals clear of Mo Salah for the Liverpool lead, and put the Reds in position to extend their unbeaten streak to 13 games.

With third- and fourth-place Chelsea and Manchester City set to kick off later in the day, Tomkins' header could have opened the door in the title race ever so slightly. As it stands now, Liverpool look well on their way to maintaining an eight-point advantage over second-place Leicester City.

Arsenal supporters breathed a sigh of relief Saturday at the Emirates, thanks to Alexandre Lacazette.

The French forward equalized for the Gunners against Southampton in the 18th minute, scoring just 10 minutes after Danny Ings gave the 18th-placed Saints a 1-0 lead.

Southampton blocked Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's shot, but Lacazette finished the rebound to score his first goal since Sept. 1.

Southampton have not won an English Premier League match since beating Sheffield United on Sept. 14th, and the Saints haven't won in all competitions since Sept. 24. Arsenal, meanwhile, were winless in the league since Oct. 6 heading into Saturday, and Lacazette's goal surely allowed manager Unai Emery to breathe a sigh of relief, too.

The Athletic's David Ornstein reportedly earlier this month that Arsenal are "100 percent" behind Emery, but North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur making a managerial change of their own conceivably could heat Emery's seat, especially if the Gunners' results don't improve.

Lacazette leveled things Saturday, but drawing against Southampton won't help Emery's case.
