Here are some of the companies with shares expected to trade actively in Thursday’s session. Stock movements noted by ticker reflect movements during regular trading hours; premarket trading is specified separately.

Tesla —up 1.9% premarket: The company on Wednesday lost a U.S. tax credit that effectively lowered the price of its vehicles and helped build interest in fledgling electric cars.

PG&E —unchanged premarket: A California bankruptcy court sided with the electric utility in its fight with bondholders over the interest rate that it must pay on its debts while under bankruptcy-court protection.

Melinta Therapeutics —up 3.6% premarket: The bankrupt biotechnology company won court approval to use its lenders’ cash to keep operating pending a possible sale of the business to health-care investment firm Deerfield Management.
